Bike Paradise  Closing ceremony

The Bike Paradise project was successfully completed thanks to the close cooperation between the municipality of Ipolydamásd, the city of Štúrovo and EZÚS Ister-Granum. This unique cooperation has enabled the creation and marking of a new cycle route that connects Štúrovo and Chľaba, as well as Ipolydamásd and Letkés, with the two end points of the cycle route now connected by a newly built bridge over the Ipeľ River, which also symbolizes the cooperation and connection of these two beautiful border regions, opening the door for cycling enthusiasts to explore it.

The EGTC Ister-Granum, which joined the project as a third partner, contributed its share through extensive marketing activities and the creation of an attractive promo film. These actions will raise awareness of the new cycle route and attract the attention of cyclists and tourists from different parts of the border region and neighbouring countries.

In addition to this, the EGTC Ister-Granum has significantly improved the cycling facilities on the newly built route by placing 7 new cycling rest areas, which serve as ideal places for short breaks and rest during the route.
In addition, 80 cycle information boards have been placed throughout the region to provide valuable information to tourists coming to the region. These boards showcase the historical and natural beauty of the region, helping cyclists to better understand and appreciate the beauty of this magical region.
